Ms. Hyman:
I thought I was the only one who had the same feelings about things which I too could feel the pains and see visions happening before they happen. I am so sorry Ms. Hyman could not have anyone to believe her nor acknowledge that God is the one which gives you the gift to experience what he sees go on in this forsaken world. Bless you and your family

After catching that Unsung episode on tvone some weeks back, I've had Phyllis' cds on heavy(er) rotation. I love Phyllis' voice; but a lot of her work is sometimes hard to listen to. Not sure how to best express it; but its kind of like how you described Billie's music (like congac, I think you said). Maybe it's because I know how closely the sadness in the lyrics of their songs paralleled the real sadness in their lives. That said; there are many Phyllis songs that I can jut put on repeat and listen to over and over (eg. ,When I Give My Love, Betcha, Somewhere In my Lifetime, You Know how To Love Me, Tonight, etc.). Thank you for this article.

Can you tell me who the guy was that was married and she wanted him to leave his wife for them to get together. I have always wanted to know who that man is. I have seen initials MJ on things, but to say it was Michael Jordan may not be right. Please help. That is a question I have had for all of these years. It's nice to read an updated post. Look forward to hearing from you. Thank you.
