In terms of the videos however, “D’Angelo / Lupe / Joni Mitchell Cover” should give kudos to Tribe Called Quest too. He jacked or interpolated the beat from them, albeit via beat-box and sampling. “Bob Marley-Fugees-The Roots cover" was a little rehearsed but good. Gives a different connotation to the term "Stool sample". Also, him singing "I can't remember the rest of the words of the song???" LOL! Tight!
