<description>Wow. Great writing, great analysis, great history! As a trumpet player and self-described Miles expert I welcome the chance to learn something new about my idol through the eyes of another fan.

Thank you for this beautiful post!

<description>You are like the best linear notes imaginable. A mirror of my soul. I&#039;m arrested by your writing and after only a few minutes of reading---hooked.

You and your brother sound like me and my baby sister..our last battle was in 1967, I was 16 and she 14. She thought she was the victor by wrapping my hair around her hand and yanking with all her might. She even tried to solidify the victory by bringing her boney knee upward as she pulled my head down in an effort to knee me in the nose.

It was like slow motion as her knee came toward my face. I turned my head and bit her on the thigh.
I&#039;m sure her blood curdling yelp was comparable to your LP&#039;s agonizing scream when your brother attacked it with the fork.

I cracked up laughing at your recollection.

I have this LP by Miles. It does something to me.
I look forward to discussing music with you and reading your poetry --- what a treasure trove you are.

Thank you for your gems shared.
