The jukebox is my soundtrack. From the first moment of the Jerry Butler set, I knew this was a classic sound. I didn’t know the songs, but I know the sound, I know the voice, I know the combination.

My favorite right now is “Something in the Way (She Moves).” The vocals, the lyrics, the music. It moves me, makes me smile, makes me think, and feel.

Can’t confirm but I would guess Ronnie Baker, the main bass player for Gamble & Huff’s house band, MFSB since Gamble & Huff co-wrote the song with Jerry Butler.
