Since you're both going batshit over Blackheart Man, you may be interested in the dub version, which forms half of "Dub D'sco Vol 1", compiled by Ras Records a few years ago. Bunny was not only the prettiest voiced Wailer (but DON'T listen to the recent soundtrack "Made In Jamaica", cause he's lost his pipes...) but he purpotedly mixed his own dub versions. True, there are fewer gorgeous vocals on the dubs, but there are instrumental snatches that were left out of the original album mix, making the dub version something of a revelation to die-hard fans - like y'all and myself. Keep up the great work!

         dub it bunny style

thanx much for the tip. got it! amazon has it on sale for $7.99 (both volumes 1 & 2 as a package). they are mp3 downloads. word to the wise. seen?

go here to purchase.

—kalamu

Thanks for the exposure. Since the Classic section takes on a Reggae-Spiritual vibe, I guess it is no accident that Hallelujah Time, Bide Up, and This Train were selected. This Train by Bunny could easily be a Sam Cooke or Marvin Gaye song.
