Gary Bartz, Andy Bey, Ntu Troop... burning Black Power imagery across already-crowded mindscapes of We who were determined to change the world (in a few short years). 

This music fueled our movement fire; fed our militant mouths; and furnished our churning minds with revolutionary vision. The song didn&#039;t matter as much as the context provided by that soul-jazz sound. 

Deep music. 
Audio poems (with a funky beat). 

Right now, it sure would be nice to hear Andy Bey singing &quot;Black Maybe&quot; from Gary&#039;s JUJU STREET SONGS album.
