This week we’ve got two live versions of Nina’s signature interpretation of "I Love You Porgy." Plus a bunch of remixes by Joe Clausell, Kerri Chandler, Mo’ Horizons. And cap the set off with a trio of innovative interpretations of "Four Women" featuring Talib Kweli, Joy Denalane and crew, and, of course, Nina herself. Enjoy!

And we close with Erykah Badu’s delineation of what it means to be a southern girl, abetted on the one hand by Rahzel’s beatbox and on the other hand by Opolopo’s remix. Thelonious Monk and John Coltrane, this is as classic as classic gets. Sixty-something Nona Hendryx is as contemporary as contemporary gets. And then Mtume drops Les Nubians’ afro-French cover (backed by The Roots) of a Nigerian-British song. Meanwhile, New Orleans is still heavy on our minds as we try to keep rolling on the road.
